HEY, I'M LACEY

Lover of Jesus. Coffee aficionado. Photographer of people.

I live with my husband in Tyler, Texas where the pine trees grow tall and the people are kind. We met and fell in love in college and got married just last fall! After 4 years of growing my knowledge of film and fine arts at Baylor University, I now carry this with me into every wedding, challenging myself to find new and unique ways to capture each couple’s day.

I've been taking pictures since before I can remember, carrying a camera with me everywhere I went, and started freelancing in my late teens.

I discovered the wedding industry 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since! For me, this isn't just my job but also an opportunity to honor the Lord with my work, encouraging my clients on their journey toward marriage, and telling their stories with my lens.

I've learned so much over the last few years and can't wait to continue to grow both this business and new friendships!

My dad played a large role in my love for photography and desire to adventure the world. From a young age I watched him come home from work trips, bringing with him photographs of beautiful people and places from his travels.

Starting at age eleven I began accompanying him on his adventures taking trips to Central and South America. In 2018 I traveled with him to Kenya and in 2019 I interned abroad in Peru.

I've fallen in love with many things the Lord has to offer on this side of heaven. My dad has introduced me to so many of them.

The photo on the right is one I took of him when we spent time in a little village in Kenya! To this day this trip is one of the highlights of my life- a time where he taught me new things, led by example, and encouraged me to do anything I set my heart on.

I'M AN ARTIST AT HEART...

I had a dream as a 16 year old of attending art school and never thought it would happen so I decided to head to Waco to follow in my parents footsteps, attending the college where they met in fell in love, pursuing an International Business degree. It was while I was there that I discovered the art department and quickly switched my major to pursue my dreams. I spent 4 years studying art and art history, living my dream and figuring out how to balance a life full of people, love, and creativity. I spent a good amount of my time in the studio staying up late, getting my hands dirty, and pouring my heart into my work. Some of these works are featured below, including a series of charcoal drawings I did over the course of my senior year.

I myself got married in November of 2023 to MY BETTER HALF - Cole.

In our cute little house there is a wooden brown wall behind the fireplace and a green velvet couch in the living room. Cole and I share a deep affection for pizza, Poppi pre-biotic sodas, and puppies. Our last name is pronounced (croh-chee) and my father in law was convinced it was Italian until 2 years ago when he found out it wasn't. We have friends all over the world, some we may never see again but hope to always hold in our hearts. Sometimes Cole will join me on my wedding adventures, bringing with him a fresh perspective and creative eye. I met Cole the first week of college and didn't start dating him until 3 years later. We traveled to Lake Como, Italy on our honeymoon and ate some of the best food I've ever had. Someday I'll write a blog post about our wedding because it was the most special and holy day of my life but until then I'll add this photo to show you a glimpse at how giddy and in love we were (still are- how could I not be??)
